Here is a list of the main characters and how I envision them. Right now the list includes only the four main characters. I may add to this later, once a couple of the minor characters are more developed.

Mye, First Officer – Is the test subject, but he has no idea. He is a great pilot, he especially loves flying smaller ships, flying them in tight maneuvers, and hard to fly areas/risky areas/flights. As soon as he heard about the deep exploration mission he signed up. He has been in the military for 10 years, and early on in testing he was moved to the “Desert Military Facility” and started with monthly “tests” which usually consist of shots in the arm, sometimes he’s put to sleep. He hasn’t noticed anything different about himself, and was told that these tests were to prepare him for his long space trip. Others take these “tests”, others do not, so it was never strange enough for him to question. The further they get in space though, the more mental/physical changes he goes through, if he wasn’t 30, you’d think he was going through puberty. (think a young Rutger Hauer from Bladerunner, but younger and more fit) I’ve always seen him with a very close buzz cut, and his hair is practically the same color as his skin, so he almost looks bald.

Morrison, Captain – Standard jock type, all American, perfect, the one everyone wants to be yet despises because life if so perfect for him. He has know Mye
for the last 10 years from the base, they have grown close and are good friends. Morrison is a by the book kind of a guy but is not afraid to question orders,
and is not dumb, he knows if someone is trying to “get one by him”. Morrison is the typical leading man, tall, dark and handsome, but in this story he doesn’t win.

Memphis, Head Scientific Officer – Memphis is the love of Mye’s life, too bad she and Cpt. Morrison are seeing each other. She is an oxymoron, she is an important scientist, but believes in faith. She spends much time with Mye, and they have a great natural relationship, but is seeing and very much in love with Morrison. She is a strong women, who doesn’t need help, but loves being with a man. I see her as a Jennifer Garner type.

Dr. Fists, Ships Doctor – He is in charge of the “Mye Experienment” While no one on the ship is aware of the this experienment, he sends coded messages back and
forth to the “Desert Military Facility”. He is a weasel, he will act like your best friend and then go and report you, and everyone knows it.

In my head, I’ve always seen the crew, not scientist, wearing black army pants, you know baggy, with the pockets on the sides, tucked in boots. And I’m not sure which branch it is, but one of the branches wears like a dark navy blue sweater, with some insignia’s on them, I see that, with black boots. It’s a space ship though, which I kinda of relate to a submarine, self contained, on it’s own, a very cold environment, enclosed. Lot’s of similarities.
