Tour of California Hits Modesto - February 2009 - Modesto was a finish line for Stage 3 of the Tour of California, and while I saw Lance Armstrong, my camera wasn't ready so I didn't get a picture of him. In fact the racers were going so fast, and with me not being able to use the flash because I was behind glass, all you can really see of the racers are a blur. Anyways I was behind glass because it was pouring down rain, but that didn't stop me from attending, but because someone I knew had access to an office on the third floor right near the finish line, I jumped on it. Here's the pics anyways.

The weekend in Capitola visiting Wedding Venues - February 2009 - Barb and I spent the weekend visiting different locations trying to find a wedding venue. Looks like it may happen after all. I can't give you a date yet, but it looks like it is narrowing down to Spring 2010.

Christmas at Disneyland - December 2008 - Not really during Christmas, but we did go there a couple of weeks before Christmas. Barb loves Disneyland at Christmastime, so we went down for the weekend, caught all the sights. When we first got there we got a picture of the girls with Chip or Dale, I can't tell the two apart, so we decided to get autograph books for the girls to see how many signatures we could get. Count 'em up, we got quite a few. So we all had a good time, except on the way home I got sick and Barb had to drive half the way.

Our Vacation to San Diego - August 2008 - Barb and the girls and I went to San Diego for a few days for vacation. It was a non-stop tour de tourism. The first day we met up with Cheryl for lunch (thanks C!) then the second day we went to Seaworld, third day the beach and the SD Zoo, forth day we went to Lego Land, were we met up with Barb's sister Tammy, and finally on the 5th day we went back to Seaworld. By the end of the week we were exhausted from all the travelling but had a great time.

Rob's Sturgis Trip - August 2008 - Rob took the big trip, riding his Harley to Sturgis South Dakota. He went with is friend Ron and his wife Aresa, plus another friend and his son. the went through a state park in Colorado; they saw Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and on the way back went through Yellowstone. He says he had a LOT of fun and wishes he could do big trips like that more often. After talking to him, yeah, he REALLY enjoyed it.

Monterey Bay Aquarium - November 2007 - Barb had won some free tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and this was the last weekend we could go, so we did. We had a great time exploring the aquarium. The girls favorite parts were the otters, jelly fish and of course the beach, but they really enjoyed the whole day. We kept it on the cheap by packing our own lunch, but all in all we had a really good time.

Halloween 2007 - Here's a whole smorasborg of photos from the activities surrounding Halloween this year. There are pictures of Katie and her pre-school field trip to a pumpkin patch, we have pictures of Sarah's day at school with all the kids dressed up in the costumes, and let's not forget the Compass Maps bbq and costume party, and lastly, a couple of pictures of Katie in her costume for the evening. The evening itself was pretty quiet, I had school, and the girls were at their dad's so Barb just stayed at home and handed out candy to kids.

October 7th, 2007 - On this weekend Barb and I went to San Francisco, where after a dinner we decided to drive over to Treasure Island to witness the view. It was there with the fog rolling in over the city that I asked Barbara to marry me. She said "yes." So now starts our engagement, and the beginning of a lifetime together, may the Lord bless this relationship, and fill the years with love. Here you will find pictures from this weekend.

40th Birthday Surprise Party - As the Rob's and I were quading, Barb was setting up this surprise party, and I was surprised. It was a great time, all of my friends were there, Jeff and his dad even came up from LA.

Hollister - September 2007 - As a way to pull me from the house for an impending Suprise 40th birthday party, Rob and Lil' Rob took me quading one Saturday. We went to Hollister because I had never been there. It was really nice, a lot of one way trails covered by trees, and miles and miles of trails that took you to a nearby peak, it was great. Thanks Bro!

Knights Ferry - September 2007 - On Labor Day, to escape the heat, Barb and I took the girls up to Knights Ferry and played in the water, and to hike around the area. It was a good long day in the heat, everyone got a little burned and afterwards we stopped for pizza and ice cream.

Color the Skies - September 2007 - On September 1st we drove up to Ripon (makes it sound like it's a long drive) and watched them launch a bunch of balloons in the morning. They even had some crazy guy on a lawn chair with a bunch of balloons tied to it. It looks like he's done it before though, still crazy though.

California State Fair - August 2007 - We ditched work one day and met up with Barb's Mom and Step-dad, and her Aunt and Uncle and spent the day at the State Fair. Besides being over 100 degrees, we had a really good time. We ate deep fried twinkies. After spending most of the day in the sun we finally rode the log ride and cooled down.

Gilroy Gardens - August 2007 - The Gilroy Chamber of Commerce was so pleased with the work we did for them at Compass Maps that they sent some tickets to Gilroy Gardens our way, and I was a lucky reciepient of four of them. So on Sunday Barb and I took the girls there for the day. We all had a great time, I got a little red for it, but it was a small price to pay.

ComicCon - July 2007 - Well we made it, and everyone had fun. Rob bought a light saber, which I still need pictures of, I got a commission from Tim Sale, the best comic book artist in the world (which you can see on the comics page). Geoffrey got to meet his favorite artist, Bruce Timm, and Robert Jr. just had a blast.

Rob's Harley (thanks Tim) - July 2007 - Witness the build, see his first run, be a part of Rob turning into a full blown biker. Nice job Rob, the bike looks great! See more of his pics on the "photos for mom" link.

Here's the place you'll want to go for photos, I've kind of separated the photos for the different interests.

Photos for Mom - Seems kinda obvious, but these are the photos that Mom's like to look at, family gatherings, kids doing cute stuff, dogs and kittens, you know and all the other photos that Mom's like to see.

Mtn. Biking - I've been mtn. biking for many years and have been to many different places for mtn. biking, so here is a place to see all the photos I've taken of the riders and locations.

Archives - Photos from the past, photos that people have enjoyed viewing, o.k., maybe I'm the only one who enjoyed viewing.

Most of all, they're just here to enjoy!
